Dexter Health Services provides urgent care services to all registered undergraduate and graduate students. *Health Forms must be submitted prior to the start of classes.

Mission

The mission of Dexter Health Services is to provide quality, convenient, and cost-effective healthcare and wellness education that helps our students achieve personal fulfillment and professional achievement.

Our office is located on the first floor of Mallary Hall at 144 Wilbraham Road (next door to the Office of the Registrar).

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

If Dexter Health Services is closed, please contact Campus Police at 413.205.3333 (x3333 on Campus) or call 911.

Services available:

  • Care of common illnesses including colds, sore throats, vomiting/diarrhea
  • Sutures(stitches)/Staples and removal
  • Management of minor orthopedic injuries
  • STI testing
  • Contraception
  • OTC medications
  • Phlebotomy (blood draw)
  • Limited on site testing (pregnancy, strep, etc.)
  • Health Education

Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled by calling the office during business hours at 413.205.3248. Masks must be worn inside of the health facility. Please submit your health records including immunization records and physical exam prior to your appointment. 

Cost of Services Provided

There is no charge to be seen by a healthcare provider at Dexter Health Services for a general sick visit. Patients may incur fees/charges for prescriptions, lab work, COVID-19 tests, influenza testing, imaging studies, etc. that are billed to the student/insurance by off-campus sources or labs.

 

**Please note, our office does not provide excuses to miss class. It is the responsibility of the student to communicate with their professors and keep up with coursework. Please visit the Center for Accessibility Services and Academic Accommodations (CASAA) (Accessibility.Services@aic.edu ; 413.205.3037) for information regarding medical accommodation requests.

Patient Portal

You now have access to your health records via the Patient Portal.  You may print out records, upload health forms, and schedule some appointments online. Caution: If you share your login information with friends/family, they will be able to access your records: https://aic.medicatconnect.com/

Mandatory Health Insurance Information: Visit University Health Plans for completion of the enrollment or waiver form. All enrollments or waivers must be completed online. This process must be completed annually.
