Thank you for your interest in joining the Residence Life team at AIC! Please read below for more information on how to apply for the Resident Advisor position.

This application is for positions that begin Fall 2024. Successful candidates will need to complete a background check with Human Resources. Please fill out the following form to officially apply for the Resident Advisor position! This application is due by February 8, 2024.

Qualifications:

• At least sophomore status by August 1, 2024
• 18 years old by August 1, 2024
• 2.5 Cumulative GPA at the end of the Spring 2024 term.
• Full-time undergraduate or graduate student at AIC
• Does NOT hold full-time employment

Requirements:

• Attendance at mandatory trainings in August and January prior to the start of classes
• Availability to assist with hall opening and closings for all break periods, including after commencement
• Live-in assigned residence hall room
• Attendance at weekly staff meetings: Mondays at 9pm

RA Selection Timeline:

• Thursday, February 8th: RA Application Due
• February 12th - 21st: Individual RA Interviews (Invite Only)
• Friday, February 23rd, 2:30-4:30pm: RA Group Process Event (Invite Only)
• Thursday, February 29th: RA Candidate Decision Update
