The Conduct Fine Reduction Program was designed to allow students to reduce their disciplinary fines issued through the Office Residence Life & Student Conduct up to $100 per individual fine. Students may complete a minimum of 2 hours of community service to eliminate $50 in disciplinary fines or up to 4 hours of community service to eliminate up to $100 dollars in disciplinary fines.

Students are only eligible to reduce up to $100 dollars of disciplinary fines per documented incident, ie. If you owe $200 dollars in fines for a single incident, you may reduce up to $100 of those fines, however, if you owe $150 dollars for three incidents where you received $50 of disciplinary fines for each incident, you may reduce all $150 dollars of those fines.

If you do more service than your fine entails, you will not receive any additional benefits from completing this program. Finally, only disciplinary fines from the Office of Residence Life & Student Conduct are eligible for the Sanction Fine Reduction Policy. Restitution fines for damages are not eligible. You must complete the service hours within the semester of receiving the fine, or you will not be eligible for the fine reduction.

Please return this completed form to the Office of Residence Life & Student Conduct. Someone will reach out and notify you about the reduced disciplinary fines within 5 business days.
