Graduate Council Purpose

The Graduate Council is a representative body of the Graduate Faculty at American International College (AIC). The Council is charged with the responsibility for developing and maintaining College policies that establish the minimum acceptable standards for graduate programs of study offered at AIC. These policies encompass the areas of minimum acceptable academic qualifications for admission as a graduate student and the acceptable level of academic performance for continued matriculation.

The Graduate Council, through its activities, encourages the various graduate and professional degree-granting units to maintain a high level of quality and performance by both faculty and students and holds primary responsibility for the general direction of and long range planning of graduate education at AIC.

All meetings of the Graduate Council are open to any member of the College community.
