The works of AIC student artists will be showcased in the upcoming "Food and Society Art Show" at the West Wing Gallery. Members of the campus community and the public are cordially invited to the art show opening celebration scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the West Wing. Complimentary snacks will be provided.
These artistic endeavors stem from mid-term projects centered around Food and Society, undertaken by students enrolled in Professor John Nordell’s courses—Digital Photography 1 and Cultivating Creativity. In response to the assignment prompt, students explored what we eat, the production of food, and the working conditions of those involved in farming, preparation, and food service. The implications of these aspects on our lives were integral to their creative process.
