A welcome reception was held last evening at PAHMUSA Museum in Springfield for President Benitez. The event was organized and hosted by Traci Talbert of the African American Female Professors Awards Association (AAFPAA). Bay Path University President Sandra Doran and Westfield State University President Linda Thompson were in attendance in addition to other community, business, and education leaders. AIC Board of Trustees member Denise Jordan delivered an introductory welcome. WWLP-22News covered the event.
