In the 1980’s the hip hop music scene was really in its infancy. Today’s guest, who at that time was just starting his long photo-journalism career, was in the right spot at the right time in Boston and snapped some amazing pictures. How amazing? Well, his work was just recently auctioned by the famous auction house, Sotheby’s. Fast forward to 2020 and John Nordell is now a professor at AIC in Springfield.
