July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month

This annual event highlights the distinct mental health challenges faced by racial and ethnic minority and American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations.

This year's theme, introduced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH), is "Be the Source for Better Health: Improving Health Outcomes Through Our Cultures, Communities, and Connections." It encourages us all to gain a deeper understanding of how social determinants of health influence mental well-being.
