Before you leave for break, please make sure that you and your roommate(s):
· Close and lock all windows
· Close the blinds or window shades
· Remove all open perishable foods
· Sweep or vacuum all floors
· Remove all prohibited items
· Remove all trash and recycling from your room/suite
All trash and recycling must be disposed of properly (bagged and tied) in your floor/hall's trash room.
Resident(s) will be billed $25 per bag removed by staff after closing.

These expectations must be followed to prevent pests and to ensure the security of your room.
Residence Life Staff will be entering each room after closing to ensure that health,
safety, and security precautions have been followed in rooms that will be vacant during the break.
