Students may request bookstore vouchers to be used at the AIC Campus Store from the Student Accounts Office. Vouchers may be issued to students with an anticipated credit balance due to awarded financial aid. Vouchers may only be used to purchase books and supplies (paper, pens, etc.). Vouchers may be requested prior to the beginning of the applicable semester.
 
Vouchers cannot be used for uniforms, equipment, or non-course related items. Vouchers will not be issued based on anticipated credits due to the monthly payment plan or for financial aid recipients who have not completed all required forms/procedures.
 
Books and supplies purchased with a bookstore voucher qualify as educationally related expenses that may automatically be covered by Federal Student Aid. The charges associated with the use of a book voucher will be added to the student's account.
 
Federal Student Aid may consist of any of the following:
  • Direct PLUS Loans
  • Direct Subsidized Loans
  • Direct Unsubsidized Loans
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)
  • Iraq and Afghanistan Grants
  • Pell Grants
  • Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grants
  • Work-Study Funds (if you requested any portion to be applied directly to your student account)

Federal Student Aid is awarded yearly and is subject to change from the U.S Department of Education. This policy meets federal requirements to provide a method for Pell eligible students with estimated credit balances from federal student aid to purchase books and supplies by the seventh day of a payment period.
